Bikes in Bloom
More than 25 bikes from local non-profit organizations lined the streets of Downtown Greenfield in a festive display to raise awareness and funds for our local non-profits. Don't miss next year's Bikes in Bloom display, popping up throughout downtown Greenfield between May 12 and June 16, 2019.
National Road Yard Sale
Be sure to stop by the Hancock County Courthouse in downtown Greenfield during the National Road Yard Sale! The huge sale runs along U.S. 40, from Baltimore to St. Louis. Sell your stuff on a space right on the courthouse lawn. Each 10-by-10-foot space is just $25. The sale returns to downtown Greenfield June 1, 2019, from 8 am to 5 pm.
Join us for the annual Fitness Festival on June 15, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., on American Legion Plaza in downtown Greenfield. Come out early to take part in the Superhero 5K on the Pennsy Trail, and stick around to visit vendor booths and watch high-energy fitness demos throughout the day!
Hometown Heroes Cornhole Tourney
On every Sept. 11, from 5:30 - 8:30 pm, join us in the Living Alley to honor our hometown veterans, police officers, firefighters and EMTs. The event starts out with a humbling 9/11 ceremony conducted by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard, followed by hometown hero awards presented by the American Legion. Then dozens take part in a cornhole tournament in the Living Alley's beer garden.
Create your own work of chalk art on the sidewalks around Courthouse Plaza. For just $5, create a 3-by-3-foot work of art and compete for cash prizes in five different age groups. Join us for the 10th annual Chalk Fest on September 15, 2018 from 3 - 6 pm. This year's event has a SUPERHERO theme, so register and start planning your designs today!
Boos & Brew
Embrace the spooky fun in downtown Greenfield at the annual Boos & Brews bash on Oct. 26! Make you way to various drinking and dining establishments and enjoy a selection of food and drink specials prepared just for the local ghosts and goblins. This is an adult-only event, because grown-ups should enjoy Halloween too. Come in costume and bring your friends!
Shop Small Saturday
Support your local merchants by shopping LOCAL on Shop Small Saturday, which is right after Thanksgiving each year. Be sure to pick up your Holiday Shopping Passport and enter to win gift certificates from downtown Greenfield merchants! This year Shop Small is Nov. 24. Stay tuned for news about a big Shop Small press event to be held on Nov. 16!
Greenfield Main Street's Hometown Holidays events are a great way to make hometown holiday memories. Takes place throughout the month of December. Holiday movies will be shown at the HJ Ricks Centre on November 28, December 5 and December 12. Movie times are 3 & 7 pm.
On December 1 and December 8 from 5 - 9 pm, we will be offering horse-drawn carriage rides around downtown Greenfield.
