Salon De’Elegance Salon & Day Spa

April Wright Roberts has been sharing her love of helping others look and feel their best since opening Salon De’Elegance Salon & Day Spa in December 2016. The salon has since become a popular location for people to receive a variety of services, including hair, skin and massage therapies.

Her persistence toward excellence has not been without hardships. April admits that she had to learn to accept criticism, and acknowledges that mistakes happen. Learning from them is what helps businesses grow. When faced with obstacles or criticism, she reminds herself that she is stronger than she thinks, and that pushing forward is the way to the other side.

April has a strong desire to mentor other women in business. She encourages women who are considering opening their own business to always believe in themselves and their ideas. She underscores the value of networking from the beginning and connecting with other women business owners for support and encouragement.

When April is not in the salon, she is happily married to her biggest supporter, who is lovingly referred to as The Maintenance Man at the salon. Her family also includes her two daughters,  McKenzie and Avery, son in law Kyle, and two grandchildren. She enjoys watching Avery play volleyball, spending time with friends and family, scuba diving, skydiving, and long walks on the beach.
